What is Apocprod?

Apocprod, or Michael F. Haspil's Apocalyptic Productions is about exploring newer, faster, cheaper, methods of storytelling using new consumer available media methods.

My "company" is dedicated to exploring filmmaking through the relatively new medium of Digital Video.  I believe that we are on a new threshold.  Easier access to broadband and  digital photography equipment combined with more powerful home computers and consumer available software is beginning to revolutionize the entertainment industry.  Viewers can now create the entertainment they would like to see.   Websites like Atomfilms and Ifilm are flourishing.  A new hobby, "Fan Film creation", is coming into its own.  "MFH's Apocalyptic Productions" is here to explore the levels of this new medium.

In a larger sense, my site is about Stories, telling them, hearing them, and exploring new ways to experience them.
